Tengrinews.kz - A 7th-grade student from a school in Aktobe has become pregnant. The police confirmed the information, according to Aktobe Times.

Earlier, there was information circulating in city public groups that a 7th-grade student from a school in Aktobe had been raped.

The press service of the Aktobe region police department confirmed to the publication only the fact that the girl became pregnant. However, the police assert that the girl was not raped. The age of the girl's partner has not been disclosed by the police.

"The fact of rape is not confirmed. Everything happened with mutual consent. The girl ecame pregnant. In any case, we have opened a criminal case. I can’t add anything more at this time," said the head of the press service, Yerbolat Sarkulov.

It should be noted that in June, a 12-year-old schoolgirl in Pavlodar region gave birth. The pregnancy was first noticed by teachers. Following this case, there were investigations in the region. The school principal filed a resignation letter and resigned voluntarily, while the head of the district education department received a severe reprimand.

As it turned out, the schoolgirl became pregnant after the rape. According to children's ombudsman Dinara Zakiyeva, an investigation into the abuse of a minor is underway.
