Kazakhstan Ministry of Transport and Communications has issued a temporary permit to Ukrainian International Airlines for Kiev-Almaty-Kiev flights, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the Ministry’s press-service. The permit is valid from June 6 to July 10, 2012. This decision was made to prevent complaints of the passengers who had already bought tickets to the airline’s flights during Euro-2012. The Ministry explained that the Civil Aviation Commission banned the Ukrainian company from Almaty-Kiev flight for the summer period, because the Ukrainian company failed to submit the required documents in full. The Ministry noted that the company was selling tickets despite of the lack of the permit. The airline failed to get the permit for the flights PS 583 Kiev-Almaty on June 5 and PS 584 Almaty-Kiev on June 6. On May 30 Ukrainian Foreign Ministry submitted an official note to Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry expressing concern over the violated agreements and forwarded official letters from the management of Ukrainian aviation authorities.
