Sunny Days film represents Kazakhstan at French Film Festival

Sunny Days directed by Nariman Turebayev is screened as part of the official selection at the Festival International des Cinemas d'Asie that is being held in French Vesoul now, Tengrinews.kz reports. Nariman Turebayev personally represents his film in Vesoul. Besides Turebayev, there are two more Kazakhstan cinema experts at the Festival. They are Kazakhstan filmmaker Yermek Shinarbayev that became a member of jury and the film expert Gulnara Abikeyeva who was invited as a special guest of the Festival. The event started on February 14, and will last till February 21. The festival offers 20 best Kazakhstan films to the French audience: Amangeldy, by Moissey Levin Abay's songs, by Grigory Roshal and Yefim Aron Kyz-Zhibek, by Sultan-Akhmet Khodzhikov Place on a grey tricorn, by Yermek Shinarbayev Life of a young accordion player, by Satybaldy Narymbetov, Touching, by Amanzhol Aytuarov Island of Revival, by Rustem Abdrashov, My name iz Kozha, by Abdulla Karsakbayev Tale about the Mother, by Alexandr Karpov Fathers' Land, by Shaken Aimanov Balcony, by Kalykbek Salykov On the Junk, by Rashid Nugmanov Terminal Stop, by Serik Aprymov The End of Otrar, by Ardak Amirkulov Shiza, by Guka Omarova Shuga, by Darezhan Omirbayev Letters to an Angel, by Yermek Shinarbayev
