Tengrinews.kz - Akim (governor) of Astana Zhenis Kassymbek commented on the situation with traffic jams in the capital.
"We are planning to start construction of Tauelsizdik Street - the street that goes from the new bridge, will reach the airport, to Prigorodny. It will significantly relieve us of the problem associated with traffic jams on Kabanbai Batyr, Turan and Mangilik El avenues. And the new bridge on Tauelsizdik will operate at full capacity," Kassymbek said at the next session of the city maslikhat.
According to him, there are many such projects.
"We will provide traffic on the new interchange, on Tlendiyev. This is a long-term construction project that has been standing for 5-6 years. We plan that the interchange will operate at full capacity next year," he added.
