According to emergency services, the fire started in the tail section of the plane a few minutes before takeoff and quickly spread to the fuselage of the plane. The plane completely burned down.

In December last year, a Jeju Air plane crashed in South Korea. It flew off the runway and crashed into a fence while landing at Muan International Airport.

As a result of the plane crash, 122 people died. Two people were rescued: one crew member and one passenger.
