This year, Turkey remains the top destination for Kazakhstanis, followed by Egypt, the UAE, Vietnam, Thailand, China, Georgia, the Maldives, Qatar, and Sri Lanka.
"Turkey has been a favorite for Kazakhstanis for several years due to its good price-to-quality ratio. Istanbul, in particular, attracts travelers in the winter months – the unique atmosphere of the city at this time of year creates a special holiday mood," said Yerkebulan Prmashov, a representative of a travel agency.

Turkey
As the travel agent mentioned, Istanbul transforms into a fairy-tale city during the New Year: evening walks along the Bosphorus, cozy cafes with Turkish sweets, and Christmas markets create an unforgettable atmosphere.
"Holiday trips in Istanbul start from 855,729 tenge for an 8-day tour for two, departing from Almaty. This price includes a charter flight on December 29 and accommodation with breakfast. For flights from Astana, prices start from 1,049,530 tenge," shared Yerkebulan.
Egypt
Winter holidays on the shores of the Red Sea offer a mild climate, warm seas, and a rich underwater world. Tourists, as noted by the travel agent, choose Egypt not only for its beaches but also to explore historical landmarks such as the pyramids, the Luxor temples, and the Valley of the Kings.
"A tour to Sharm El Sheikh, departing from Almaty on December 29, will cost at least 1,351,036 tenge for two people for eight days. Tourists can enjoy the 'all-inclusive' system at a 5-star hotel. For those departing from Astana, the price starts at 1,772,969 tenge," said the specialist.

UAE
The Emirates offer travelers a wide variety of activities: from shopping in Dubai’s best malls to desert safaris and dinners by the Persian Gulf. According to Yerkebulan, tourists choose the UAE for comfort, safety, and the opportunity to celebrate in style.
"The UAE offers not only a warm climate in winter but also a wide range of options: from the luxurious skyscrapers of Dubai to the peaceful beaches of Ras Al Khaimah. This type of vacation is perfect for both family trips and romantic getaways.
A vacation in the Emirates for 8 days, departing on December 29 from Almaty for two people, will cost from 858,637 tenge, depending on the accommodation and selected city. The offer includes breakfast. For departures from Astana, the price for the same offer will rise to 974,669 tenge," said the travel agent.
Thailand
Phuket, according to Erkebulan, is one of the top destinations for winter holidays, offering a mix of beach relaxation, vibrant nightlife, and unique Thai cuisine.
"A holiday on Phuket for 8 days starts at 1,635,138 tenge with a departure from Almaty on December 29, or from 1,669,759 tenge from Astana. This includes accommodation in a 5-star hotel, charter flight, and breakfast," the expert explained.

Maldives
For those dreaming of celebrating the New Year on pristine white beaches with the sound of ocean waves, the Maldives is the ultimate choice. Erkebulan noted that Kazakhstani travelers visit the Maldives for luxury, seclusion, and unparalleled tranquility not found in other tourist destinations.
"The Maldives is perfect for both family vacations and romantic getaways. An 8-day trip for two, departing on December 29 from Almaty, costs from 3,399,517 tenge, depending on the accommodation. Meals typically include breakfast and dinner. If departing from Astana, prices start at 2,589,683 tenge," he shared.
Vietnam
Phu Quoc, described by the travel agent as a tropical paradise, offers stunning natural beauty, endless beaches, and delicious cuisine. For Kazakhstanis, it is not only a place to relax but also an opportunity to immerse themselves in the exotic culture of Southeast Asia.
"A trip to Phu Quoc Island with a departure from Almaty starts at 1,522,340 tenge for eight days. The price includes a regular flight departing on December 29 and all-inclusive meals. For departures from Astana, prices begin at 2,318,900 tenge," shared Erkebulan.
The cost of New Year's tours, according to the expert, depends on the destination, hotel class, and type of flight.
"Each country that Kazakhstanis choose for New Year's holidays has its own unique advantages. We recommend booking trips in advance. Popular destinations sell out quickly, and closer to the holidays, only more expensive or less convenient options remain," the travel agent concluded.
