Tengrinews.kz - An unknown individual caused havoc at an airport in Chile. The incident was caught on video and collected 14 million views, causing a lot of discussion in the network.

On August 28, a video was uploaded online that quickly went viral. The footage shows an unidentified man vandalizing Arturo Merino Benítez Airport in Santiago, the capital of Chile. The event generated significant public reaction, but the exact date of the incident remains unknown.

The video shows a man, seemingly in a state of extreme emotional distress, smashing equipment and furniture in the airport hall. He uses a hammer to break TVs and monitors at the check-in counter. Security did not intervene, which sparked outrage on social media.

“Things that only happen at the Chile airport,” reads the caption of the video.

There was an active discussion in the comments. Many users expressed their discontent over the absence of police and security during the incident.

However, some supported the man's actions, viewing them as a protest against poor service and bureaucratic delays.

Some commenters pointed out that such behavior is unacceptable and noted that in other countries, these actions could have serious consequences.

"In the Emirates, he would be in jail for life," wrote one commenter.

By the way, recently a foreigner was detained and fined almost 184 thousand tenge for smoking on board an aircraft.
