Armenia has joined the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty. The agreement was signed in Minsk, Belarus at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
Vice Minister for Investment and Development of Kazakhstan said that famous personalities and influential businessment will help advertise Kazakhstan abroad.
The Eurasian Economic Union, according to the former head of the KazMunaiGas Lyazzat Kiinov, will have a positive effect on the situation with petrol in Kazakhstan.
In winter Kyrgyzstan used to rely on its own power capacities, however this year Kyrgyzstan is facing an unprecedented shortage of power. The estimated shortage this coming winter stands at around 2 billion kilowatt-hours.

The railway link Uzen (Kazakhstan) – Kyzylkaya – Bereket – Etrek (Turkmenistan) – Gorgan (Iran) totals 934.5 km, with the longest part (722.5 km) running across Turkmenistan. The Kazakhstan’s section makes up 130 km, with the other 82 km running across Iran.
