Everyone is welcomed to take part in the Tour of World Class that will be held on August 16 in Almaty, Tengrinews reports.

The tour will be held for the second time. Last year, 1,000 people applied and 600 of them turned out for the race.

And now everyone has an opportunity to feel what it means to be a real racer testing your body's strength and endurance.

The event is organized by World Class fitness center along with the Almaty Akimat (city administration) to popularize active lifestyle in Almaty and promote cycling in Kazakhstan.

"The Tour of World Class bike race is held to promote healthy and active lifestyle among Almaty residents, to develop cycling in the city as well as to get more people cycling," Chairman of the race's Organizing Committee Saltanat Kazybayeva said, "This year we expect 1,000 participants at the start of the race. Unfortunately, the streets are not capable of accommodating more cyclists then that. But we are sure that the most active cycling amateurs in Kazakhstan will be among the participants."
