Tennis: Kazakhstan’s Putintseva moved 21 lines up in WTA ranking

Kazakhstan tennis professional Yuliya Putintseva has moved 21 lines up in the renewed WTA (Women Tennis Association) ranking, Vesti.kz reports. The young Kazakhstan tennis professional is ranked 101st at present. 18-y.o. tennis player has managed to reach the third round of the Australian Open. Another Kazakhstan tennis professional Kseniya Pervak has reached the second round of Australian Open and moved 10 lines up. She is ranked 72nd now. Kazakhstan No.1 in tennis Yaroslava Shvedova has lost one line and is 29th at present. Belarus’s Victoria Azarenka is the leader of the ranking, American Serena Williams follows her and Russia’s Maria Sharapova is third.
