Mixed Martial Arts: Kazakhstan wrestler to fight Rassul Mirzayev

Kazakhstan Mixed Martial Arts wrestler Yerzhan Yestanov from Alash Pride team will fight against famous and award-winning Russia’s sambo fighter Rassul Mirzayev. The latter was recently accused of a student’s death in Moscow, but the charges were lifted from him. Yestanov, nicknamed Arlan (Wolf) spoke about his future fight in an interview to Sports.kz Kazakhstan fighter said that “the exact date of the fight is undecided yet.” Yestanov said that he expected the victory. “Good luck matters in sport, so many things depend on good luck. I expect a victory, but it is for Allah to decide,” the wrestler said. Yerzhan added that he would like to achieve excellent results in the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and bring Kazakhstan into repute all over the world. “I’d like to hoist Kazakhstan flag above my head so that everybody knows that the MMA are developed well in Kazakhstan and that there are good MMA fighters in Kazakhstan,” he said in his interview. There are still few victories of Kazakhstan MMA wrestlers over famous world MMA fighters. There was one sensational victory in summer 2012 when Kazakhstan’s Tolegen Akylbekov nicknamed Attila won over American Bob Sapp.
