Kazakhstan football team will play its first match in 2012 against Latvia

Kazakhstan national football team will play a friendly match against the Latvian team on February 29, 2012, Tengrinews.kz reports, referring to Kazakhstan Football Federation's website. The match will be held in Antalya, Turkey. The national team led by Miroslav Beranek will start preparing to 2014 World Championship qualifying round by playing this match. The Championship will be held in Brazil. Sayan Khamitzhanov, general secretary of Kazakhstan Football Federation, and Yanis Mezhekis, secretary of Latvian Federation agreed on this match during the negotiations between two football federations. Latvia is the 68th in the latest FIFA rating, Kazakhstan holds the 138th line in the list.
