Kazakhstan national team has won two more bronze medals at the Universiade in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia, Vesti.kz reports.
The fencing team of Kazakhstan won over the Switzerland's team in the match for the third place with a small margin of 35:34.
The other bronze medal for the Kazakh national team was earned by free-style wrestler Berdakh Primbayev. He beat Yaser Heidargholinezhad from Iran with the score of 4:0 in the -56kg weight division.
Kazakhstan is in the twentieth place by the medal count. Its athletes have won the total of 15 medals at the Universiade so far:
- Weightlifter Farkhad Kharkiand and athlete Margarita Mukasheva brought two gold medals to Kazakhstan.
- Nine silver medals were earned by weightlifters Karina Goricheva and Aleksandr Zhaichikov, fencer Ruslan Kurbanov, boxers Rustam Rustamov and Zhan Kossobutyskiy and belt wrestlers Moldashev Dimash and Eskarkhan Oskanov, by Sergey Yemeliyanov in rowing and by Beimet Kanzhanov in sambo.
- Free-style wrestlers Berdakh Primbayev and Alikhan Jumayev, boxers Yerzhan Zhomart and Nurdaulet Zharmanov, belt wrestlers Ayan Yermekbayev and Gulnur Yerbolova, athletes Yevgeniy Ektov and Nikita Filippov, Azhar Kenbeil in sambo, the national men's fencing team and the target shooting national women's team in two events took twelve bronze medals at the tournament.
