Hockey: Kazakhstan Barys wins Russian Traktor in away match

Astana Barys hockey club won over Chelyabinsk Traktor in the first match of the KHL play-off series on February 21, Vesti.kz reports. The match that was held in Chelyabinsk ended with the score of 3:4 in favor of the Kazakhstan’s team. Brandon Bochenski, who is caped for the Astana club, delivered two pucks in regular time (in the 19th and 31st minutes of the match). Kazakhstan’s Vadim Krasnoslobodtsev scored a goal 44 minutes into the match. Traktor’s Konstantin Panov delivered two pucks in response (in the 25th and 35th minutes) and Maksim Yakutseni scored the third goal 59 minutes into the match. Barys hockey club’s Roman Starchenko secured the victory for the Kazakhstan team by making a perfect shot and scoring the goal in the 75th minute.
