Kazakhstani figure skater Elizabet Tursynbayeva, 14, has won a tournament in Poland, Tengrinews reports citing Kyzylorda-news.kz.
Mentor Nestle Nesquik Torun Cup 2015 took place from January 7 to 11 in Torun, Poland. Tursynbayeva competed in Junior Ladies category. She was the only representative of Kazakhstan at the competition.
Elizabet won the first place with 147.50 points. Matilda Algotsson from Sweden landed on the second place with 122.78. A German skater Kristen Spours was on the third place with 121.85 points.
The figure skater dedicated her victory to Kazakhstani children. She wished Kazakhstanis a Happy New Year and many personal victories in the upcoming year.
Despite her tender age, Elizabet is a four time Champion of Kazakhstan, and winner of many Italian, German and Slovakian championships.
At first Elizabet lived in trained in Moscow. Later she moved to Canada with her family to train with a famous coach Brian Orser.
