Kazakhstan London Olympic champions Zulfiya Chinshanlo, Ilya Ilyin and Olga Rypakova have been awarded as the best Asian athletes, Vesti.kz reports. London Olympic champions got the Olympic Council of Asia award this year. Olympic wrestling, swimming, judo champions from Uzbekistan, China, South Korea, Iran, Japan and Democratic People’s Republic of Korea were among the prizewinners as well. The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) awards 10 male and 10 female athletes annually. The awards were bestowed on November 8 during a festive night that was held as part of the General Assembly meeting in China.
