American boxer Curtis Stevens has held an improvised funeral for IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin from Kazakhstan, Vesti.kz reports. Stevens posted photos from the improvised funeral he arranged for Golovkin on the internet. "R.I.P. GGG. He was a good boy" Stevens signed the photos. The two middleweights will fight on November 2 at the Theater in New York's Madison Square Garden. The boxers signed a contract after some hesitation on Stevens' promotes side in the end of August.
