The video was created by Amelyn Beverly, a travel blogger from Singapore who regularly shares her international journeys with her social media followers.
During her latest trip to Kazakhstan, the traveler filmed several videos. In one particular clip, a traditional yurt acts as a "portal" connecting the country's primary natural attractions.
The traveler says she hopes the video inspires others to embark on a similar journey.

"This is my favorite spot in the entire Almaty region. Neither photos nor videos can capture how beautiful it is. We spent the whole day here, and the hike to the second lake and back took about seven and a half hours. Places like this remind you how important it is to just stop and enjoy nature," she said.
For those planning a trip, the blogger shared several tips:
- Start your route as early as possible, as mountain weather changes rapidly;
- Wear comfortable trekking shoes—trails become slippery after rain;
- Don't stop at the first lake; far fewer tourists reach the second one, making it much more peaceful;
- Gauge your stamina in advance—the round-trip trek can take six to eight hours.
