Astana still third in Dakar's overall after 11th stage

Kazakhstan team Astana completed the 11th stage of the world’s most prestigious rally Dakar at the ninth place, the tournament’s official website writes. The truck driven by Arthur Ardavichus was 22 minutes 44 seconds behind the leader, Russian racer Andrei Karginov. After this race Ardavichus remains third in the general classification, but he is now 1 hour 20 minutes 9 seconds behind the leader Gerard De Rooy. IVECO truck driven by Hans Stacey is the main competitor of Astana in the overall score. It completed the 11th stage at the second place being 19 minutes ahead of Ardavichus. Three stages are left until the end of the race. Today, on January 13, the teams are competing at the route between Arequipa and Nasca in Peru.
