Earlier, it was announced that pop star Jennifer Lopez will visit Kazakhstan’s capital as part of her Up All Night world tour. Her concert is scheduled for August 1 at Astana Arena.
Astana’s head coach, Grigoriy Babayan, had expressed concerns that Lopez’s show might interfere with his team’s European campaign, as the matches originally planned for July 24 and 31 would need to be moved to another venue.
However, the club later clarified that the pop diva’s concert would not interfere with the matches, and that negotiations with UEFA were already underway to adjust the schedule.
