The second annual ball of fashion and beauty Martini May Fashion was held in Almaty. It gathered the most beautiful people of Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports. Founder and producer of the event Andrey Fomin traditionally met the guests on the red carpet. TV-hostess and producer Bayan Yessentayeva, actress Assel Sagatova, famous violin-player Zhamilya Serkebayeva, TV-hostess Aigul Mukei were among many other stars who attended the event. Miss Kazakhstan-2010 Zhanna Zhumaliyeva and a special guest, famous Russian actor Konstantin Kryukov opened the ceremony. Designers Aida Kaumenova, Saida Azikhan, Oksana Korbi, Salta, Mikhail Ktavets, Tatyana Taraverdyan, Aigul Kassymova and 12-year-old Aruai Nurkadilova presented the wedding dresses. This time designers made a special tandem with stars: Aida Kaumenova, Keshyu band and Bayan Yessentayeva showed spring motives of wedding dresses. Bayan Yessentayeva and girls from Keshyu band modelled as brides. Saida Azikhan presented dresses with leather elements on Zhamilya Serkebayeva. Aigul Kassymova dressed an actress Linda Nigmatulina in a wedding dress with boots and a crown. Salta presented an outrageous bride with red mohawk in orange stockings and black T-shirt with “Want to marry an oilman” sign. Aruai Nurkadilova dressed her model in a bright colored dress. The model catwalked with a pug who was then given a chocolate afterwards. The show was closed by a world-famous artist and designer Andrey Bartenev. His models walked in huge specular balloons that were popped by carton lightnings on stage. The designer appeared on stage in a colorful costume with gigantic head-band made of several balloons.
