All Stars sports festival has kicked off in Baluan Sholak Sport and Culture Palace at the crossing of Abay and Baitursynov streets in Almaty. The festival features power-lifting, body-building, arm wrestling, body-fitness and street dance ‘battles’. The festival's celebrities are the absolute world champion in professional arm wrestling Denis Cyplenkov, American fitness-model Lin Shaye, and a famous body-builder Bill Wilmore. Armwrestling competition managed by Denis Cyplenkov started after an opening ceremony. Sportsmen from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and other ex-Soviet republics took part in the competition that was followed by performances of karate, taekwondo and hapkido sportsmen. A dancing show featuring legendary Jr.Boogalo & Boog Tom (USA, South Korea) was one of the festival's special moments. Power lifting, body-fitness and street dancing competitions will take place during the remaining days of the three day festival that will end on March 27. By Galiya Kaliyeva
