Outdoor military vehicles museum opened in Kostanay

The only Kazakhstan’s outdoor military vehicles museum has opened in Kostanay, Tengrinews.kz reports. Military vehicles were placed in the Victory Park. The official opening ceremony was attended by Kostanay oblast Akim (Governor) Nuraly Saduakassov. There are no similar museums in Kazakhstan. The initiative of its opening belongs to Kostanay administration. The idea was supported by Kazakhstan Defense Ministry and the oblast's defense department. 14 museum’s items include functioning replicas of soviet military vehicles of the time of the World War II and Civil Wars: T-34, T-62, T-64, T-72 tanks, Katyusha artillery mounts, armored vehicles, howitzers and other vehicles. Kostanay citizens highly appreciated this gift to the city.
