Kazakhstan fashion designer Kamila Kurbani will present a “changing” collection at the first day of Kazakhstan Fashion Week in Almaty, Tengrinews.kz reports.
Fall-Winter 2011 collection is called Mix in season. It combines multi-layers and multi-textures. The designer combined hard and soft fabrics.
“We made this collection specially for the changing weather. I present knitted clothes as well as openwork dresses with relaxed fit cardigans on top,” she said. “The color range will be made of black, beige, gray, emerald and white colors.”
As per Kurbani, it matches Almaty weather which is famous for its abrupt changes. “My collection will be in casual style suggestive of London chick,” the designer said.
Kamila Kurbani will take part in KFW for the second time. Last year she staggered the visitors and fashion critics. The designer is planning to become a frequenter of the event.
Kazakhstan fashion week will be held on April 21-23 in Almaty Towers at the crossing of Baizakov and Satpayev streets (behind Hyatt Regency Almaty hotel).
Nurlan Turekhanov and Aigul Kuandykova will open the fashion week under Mechanical Piano brand. Special guests of the first day are Rauza Bayazit from USA and Keti Chkhikvadze from Georgia. A famous Kazakhstan designer Kuralai Nurkadilova will close the first day.
