A married couple of designers Aigul Kuandykova and Nurlan Turekhanov (Mechanical Piano brand) will present a conceptual collection called White dreams and broken birds at Kazakhstan Fashion Week, Tengrinews.kz reports. Kuandykova and Turekhanov will open fashion week in Almaty on April 21. As per Mechanical Piano, pastel colors will prevail in Fall-Winter 2011 season. The collection is made of both hard and soft fabrics. “We used batiste, chiffon, lace and hard fabrics,” the designer said. Kazakhstan fashion week will kick off on April 21 in Almaty Towers at the crossing of Baizakov and Satpayev streets (behind Hyatt Regency Almaty hotel). Kazakhstan designers Kamila Kurbani, InsideOut / Lesautres, special guest from USA Rauza Bayazit will open the show. The second part of the first day's program includes collections of Winter Fantasy, Keti Chkhikvadze from Georgia and a famous Kazakhstan designer Kuralai Nurkadilova. Aida Kaumenova will show current clothes, and Saltanat Baimukhamedova (Salta) will dress Kazakhstan women in men's clothes.
