Kazakhstan residents will have three days off for the Orthodox Christmas this year, Tengrinews.kz reports.
According to Article 96 of Kazakhstan Labor Code, religious holidays Kurban-ait and Orthodox Christmas are not considered official holidays, but are days off. In this relation, Kazakhstan residents will have 3 days off: January 5, 6 and 7, 2013.
Earlier His Beatitude Alexander, the Metropolitan of Astana and Kazakhstan congratulated Kazakhstan's Orthodox Christians on the coming Christmas.
