Assel Turzhanova from Astana will represent Kazakhstan at the Miss Tourism 2013, Tengrinews reports. Assel won the Miss Tourism Kazakhstan 2013 contest. The final of Miss Tourism 2013 will take place on October 12 in Equatorial Guinea. The Kazakhstan's participant of the Miss Tourism 2013 is a fourth-year student of the Turan-Astana university, studying tourism. Assel speaks Russian, Kazakh and English. The girl is fond of traveling, dancing, books and fashion. Assel admits that her dream is to see herself in the beautiful dress and feel the victory. The main task of her participation in the contest is to uphold the image of the country and not fail the people who believe in her. The organizers of the pageant will provide the holder of the Miss Tourism Kazakhstan 2013 title with personal armed bodyguards, as they believe that the African country may be dangerous. 60 beauties were competing for the Miss Tourism Kazakhstan title, with Miss Almaty 2012 Farida Malik, Miss Shymkent 2011 Arna Abdrahmani, participant of Miss Tourism Asia Asemgul Ibrayeva, Miss Karaganda 2013 Diana Kenesova, Miss Baikonur 2008 Zhuldyz Zhanayeva and Miss Astana 2012 Ayaulym Yergazy among them. Kazakhstan used to win titles at Miss Tourism World: Kazakhstan beauty Gulnara Birzhanova from Astana was awarded with the title of Miss Photogenic at the international Miss Tourism World 2012 beauty pageant. Miss Tourism 2013 in Equatorial Guinea is expected to help promote the country at the international arena in hopes to draw more tourism and establish its status as the premier destination in Central West Africa.
