Denis Ten&rsquos ice show Denis and Friends opens in Almaty on June 20 and 21, Tengrinews reports citing Vesti.kz.

The ice show will take place at the Baluan Sholak Sports Palace (crossing of Baitursynov and Abay streets) at 6:00 pm. The participants of the Denis and Friends show will be announced soon. Meanwhile, the preparations are in full swing.

Last year, the show gathered famous figure skaters including the silver prizewinner of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics Mao Osada (Japan), 2010 Olympic bronze winner Daisuke Takahashi (Japan), 2014 Olympic medal winner Carolina Kostner (Italy), 2010 Olympic champion Evan Frank Lysacek (USA), 2006 Olympic silver medal winner Stephane Lambiel (Switzerland), 2006 Olympic champions Tatiana Totmianina and Maxim Marinin (Russia), 2014 Olympic champions Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov (Russia), Mirai Aileen Nagasu (USA), Nathalie Pechalat and Fabian Bourzat (France), 2010 Olympic medal winner Joannie Rochette (Canada).

It was the first show that gathered the biggest names in figure skating around the world and it had a tremendous success in Almaty. Several thousand people from Kazakhstan, Japan, Russia, China and South Korea came to see the Denis and Friends show.
