Almaty residents to watch Astana parade on Constitution Day 26 августа 2011, 19:20

Celebration of Kazakhstan Constitution Day will be held in Almaty at Astana square (at the crossing of Tole-bi and Ablai-khan streets) on August 30, Tengrinews.kz reports citing press-service of the city Akim (Mayor). Almaty Akim Akhmetzhan Yessimov will take part in the event. It will start at 10:00 a,m, with a music program. Live broadcast of Nursultan Nazarbayev’s congratulations from Astana will start at 11:00 a.m. Almaty residents will also be offered to watch a broadcast of the military parade in Astana. Kazakhstan pop stars Nagima Yeskaliyeva, Zhanna Orynbassarova, All-Davai and Asia bands will take part in the concert afterwards. Festival of The Beatles songs will start at 7:00 p.m. Songs of the Liverpool band will be played by Dostar, K-7 and Fridays bands, as well as Almaty Akim’s symphonic orchestra headed by Nurlan Baikozov. The holiday will finish by impressive fireworks at 10:00 p.m.
