13-year-old Almaty student to saddle Harry Potter's broom

A 13-year-old Almaty teenager won a unique trip to London film studio where Potterian was shot, Tengrinews.kz reports. Adil Vovnyanko won a special contest organized by Meloman in association with the Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group. In London Adil will be able to fly the magic broom used by the Potterian characters. His flights will be recorded and a special team will apply special effects. The teenager will be able to take the video home. Adil will be accompanied by his father who will also get an opportunity to fly the broom. The winner is very happy with his victory. He said that he had no doubts he would be the one to win the trip to London. “I was very happy to win the trip,” he said. The trip is expected to last for three days. Adil and his father will stay in London on June 1-3. The Potterian promotion campaign was held from April 15 to May 5. One had to buy a DVD or a Bly-Ray disc with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 in one of Meloman stores. The discs had an insert with a secret code which had to be activated on Meloman website. After that the contester had to answer a few questions about Potterian. As per Meloman representative Natalya Vaganova, 568 people took part in the contest. 200 of them gave correct answers to the questions. Computer selected the winner automatically.
