Kazakhstan scientist Begen Yessimov hs been awarded with ISESCO (Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) international prize, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry. "Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) has announced awarding of the 2012 ISESCO prize in science and technology to Dr.Begen Yessimov, professor of the Department of Silicates Technology and Minerals Synthesis of Auezov South-Kazakhstan State University,” the press-service writes. According to the press-service, the prize is awarded to scientists and scientific researchers of the organization’s member-states for outstanding innovative and scientific impact in biology, chemistry, geology, mathematics, physics and scientific technologies. The prize includes a certificate, a medal and a monetary award of $5,000. The ceremony of awarding of the prize-winners will be held during the 4th conference of the ministers of education and science of ISESCO member-countries on November 20-21 in Khartoum, Sudan.
