Kazakhstan has offered Kyrgyzstan to use its KazSat communication satellites together, Tengrinews reports referring the official website of the National Space Agency of Kazakhstan
KazKosmos. Besides offering the joint use of the communication and broadcasting satellites Kazakhstan offered Kyrgyzstan to rent some of the geostationary satellites' capacity. The proposal on the joint use was made at the 4th session of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Counsel that took place on November 1 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyzstan will consider the proposal and announce its final decision by the end of the 4th quarter of 2014. Kazakhstan's KazSat satellite network will be able to provide commercial telecommunication services to the neighboring countries like Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Russia and Uzbekistan after the third satellite - KazSat-3 - is launched in 2014. It will be put into the orbit together with Russian spacecraft Luch by Proton rocket carrier from Baikonur cosmodrome.
