Andrey Tsukanov who threw eggs at Kazakhstan Minister of Labor and Social Protection Serik Abdenov during the press-conference has been sentenced to 7 days in jail, Tengrinews.kz reports from the Specialized Inter-regional Administrative Court. "I was sentenced to 7 days in without a fine. I accepted that I threw eggs at Minister Abdenov. As for me allegedly showing disrespect to people, I denied that," Tsukanov told Tengrinews.kz leaving the court. "I said that I showed disrespect to the Minister only, as it was not possible to have a civilized dialog with him. He replies "because, because" to all people's questions." Tsukanov confessed that he came to the briefing of Serik Abdenov with an intention to throw eggs at him. "I brought three eggs with me and threw them all at him. I did it intentionally," he said. Police took Tsukanov away in some time. "This is an arrested person and he cannot give interviews," the policemen said. The incident happened during the press-conference. The man who introduced himself a the communist threw three eggs at the Minister in front of dozens of journalists. The Minister remained calm: he stood up and started cleaning his suit. The briefing was suspended for several minutes and resumed after Abdenov came back. By Roza Yessenkulova
