President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan in mid-January, Tengrinews reports citing the President as saying during the press conference in Kiev.

"My diplomatic year begins on January 15 with a visit to Astana, where we will hold the Norman format meeting (Norman format refers to the meeting of Russian President, Chancellor of Germany, presidents of France and Ukraine)," he said.

"My desire is to turn international prestige into foreign investments. Over 7-8 months, Ukraine has been able to mobilize an unprecedented international support," he said.
