Alexey Tsoy has been appointed the new Vice Minister of Healthcare and Social Development in Kazakhstan, Tengrinews reports citing the press office of the Ministry.


Alexey Tsoy has been appointed the new Vice Minister of Healthcare and Social Development in Kazakhstan, Tengrinews reports citing the press office of the Ministry.

Tsoy, 37, who previously worked as the Head of the Astana’s Municipal Hospital #1 was assigned to his new post on December 30, 2014.

The new Vice Minister of Healthcare and Social Development graduated from the South Kazakhstan State Medical Academy and later completed studies in jurisprudence at the Institute of International Law and Business. Throughout his career Tsoy worked in endoscopic surgery, at the Center of Transplantology and Plastic Surgery and the National Science Medical Center.

He replaced Serikbol Mussinov in the position. The latter also got a new appointment. Mussinov was appointed as the Head of the National Center for Drug Expertise, Medical Devices and Medical Equipment.
