Nazarbayev has been invited to visit Macedonia. While being in Kazakhstan with a state visit President of Macedonia Gjorge Ivanov personally invited his Kazakhstan counterpart to visit Macedonia, Tengrinews.kz reports. "We have discussed the issues of our interest. Trade and economic relations was the key point. We talked about political issues between Kazakhstan and Macedonia. There are no problems hindering our cooperation. We are open for partnership. I think that you will feel the good attitude of Kazakhstan citizens during your visit," Nazarbayev said greeting his guest. Gjorge Ivanov thanked Nazarbayev for the invitation to visit Kazakhstan and also invited him to his country. "I think that you will be pleased with the hospitality, as well as yours was a pleasures for me and our delegation today. You know that we have friendly relations and we are a country that wants to have more friendly relations with Asian countries. We want your citizens to visit our sites, as Macedonia is located at the crossing of the Balkans. Our history is very rich and your tourists and students can find out a lot," the president of Macedonia said. This is the first state visit of Macedonian president to Kazakhstan. Besides the meeting of the presidents of both countries, Gjorge Ivanov is also expected to meet with Kazakhstan Senate speaker Kairat Mami, Prime-Minister Karim Massimov and chairman of Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund Umirzak Shukeyev.
