Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev sent a congratulatory telegram to Xi Jinping on his election as a new Secretary General of the Central Commission of China's Communist Party and invited him to visit Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the President's press-service.
"Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulated Xi Jinping on the election to the position of Secretary General of the Central Commission of China's Communist Party. Kazakhstan President expressed confidence that the party under management of the new Secretary General will take China to new heights of social-economic development and will enhance the country's high standing at the international arena," the press-service writes.
The President stressed the importance of the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and China and expressed hope that the interstate relations will be further enhanced.
"China is a friendly neighbor and an important strategic partner for Kazakhstan. I am sure that the mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries will keep dynamically developing and bring well-being to our people," the telegram writes.
"Nursultan Nazarbayev invited Secretary General of the Central Commission of China's Communist Party to render a state visit to Kazakhstan," the message states.
