Nazarbayev expressed condolences in relation to earthquake in Iran

Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed condolences to President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in relation to the earthquake that claimed 306 lives, Tengrinews.kz reports citing President’s press-service. “It is with deep sorrow that I’ve heard the sad news on the earthquake in East Azerbaijan province that caused many human victims. Sharing your grief, on behalf of Kazakhstan people and from me personally, I express deep condolences to the families of the victims of this disaster, as well as to all fraternal Iranian people,” the telegram states. A series of 6-magnitude shocks struck Iran on August 11. According to the latest information, the disaster claimed 306 lives; 5,000 people were injured.
