Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry called for a more careful selection of the employers under Work and Travel program, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the Ministry’s official representative Altai Abibullayev. “We have several times pointed out to the American party and Kazakhstan citizens the necessity of careful selection of the employer, as the reason for deportations and unsuccessful trips of Kazakhstan citizens to the U.S. under this program (Work and Travel) mainly lies in the employers, the inviting party in this case. We specifically point this out to Kazakhstan citizens. It is necessary to carefully check the rating, weight and potential of the future employer, as the successful trip and work of our citizens at the territory of the U.S. depend on these organizations, the inviting party,” Abibullayev said. He stressed that Foreign Ministry is currently holding meetings in the U.S. Department of State and constantly holds the consultations in the consular departments. “In the view of the start of the vacations season, we once again call our citizens to be more careful and attentive when selecting the employer. Consultations are held in the U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan to give Kazakhstan citizens the recommendations on their trips to the United States and render maximum support in selection of potential employers. This work is in process and will keep going it,” Abibullayev said. Abibullayev also noted that there were many issues raised with the citizens’ insurance. According to him, Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry is to systematically and comprehensively continue working with the American counterpart to ease up Kazakhstan citizens’ trips to the United States. “As I have noted, all the applications of Kazakhstan citizens are processed automatically. Our diplomatic representatives in the United States, consuls and diplomats, take all the circumstances into consideration. Results of investigation of incidents are made available without any delays by Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry,” he said commenting the incident that happened recently to Kazakhstan citizens in the U.S.
