On the forthcoming visit of China’s President Xi Jinping to Kazakhstan the two sides are to sign a declaration to deepen the partnership, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing the country’s Foreign Minister Erlan Idrissov as saying.
“On the forthcoming visit the two heads of state are to sign a joint declaration to further the bilateral strategic partnership; the declaration is a sign of the two sides’ commitment to principles of good neighborliness and relations based on equality of rights; it lays a foundation for expansion of the Kazakh-Chinese cooperation”, Mr. Idrissov told a briefing following his talks with China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Astana.
President Xi Jinping is to visit Kazakhstan September 6-8.
“Given the importance of the visit for further development of the bilateral ties, the two sides are working to make sure all the prep works are done in due time”, the Minister said.
