The Ambassador of France Jean-Charles Berthonnet has completed the diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the Senate’s press-service. Senate speaker Kairat Mami had a meeting with the Ambassador today. “Kairat Mami thanked the ambassador for his successful work and his contribution into development of the bilateral cooperation,” the press-service writes. During the meeting the Ambassador told the Senator about the events of the Season of French Culture in Kazakhstan. They also discussed prospects of Kazakhstan-French inter-parliamentary cooperation. “With our joint efforts we have brought Kazakhstan-French relations to a new level of strategic partnership,” Mami said. He stressed Kazakhstan’s interest in further attraction of direct French investments and technologies to Kazakhstan.
