Afghanistan authorities hope to resume air connection with Kazakhstan, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports. “Our ministry of transport supports for reopening the air connection. We want to resume Kabul-Astana or Kabul-Almaty flights,” chairman of Afghan part of Kazakhstan-Afghanistan Inter-Government Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation, Minister of Trade and Industry Anwar-Ul-Haq Ahady said at the 5th meeting of the Commission in Almaty. He pointed out that one of Afghanistan's air companies used to performed flights to Kazakhstan, but later the connection was closed. “Our transport ministry has worked out a draft agreement on interaction in transport sector. This draft has been sent to the Kazakhstan government,” Anwar-Ul-Haq Ahady said. “We hope to sign this agreement.”
