Speaking at the rally in Semei, deputy of Japanese parliament Hiroyuki Moriyama thanked Kazakhstan for its help after the earthquake, Tengrinews.kz reports.

“Japan and Kazakhstan have faced a similar tragic experience. Last year our country suffered from an accident at Fukushima-1 nuclear power station. I would like to express deep gratitude to all the countries, including Kazakhstan, for the huge help rendered to us after the devastating earthquake. Japan is ready to support Kazakhstan in its initiative to save the world from nuclear weapons,” Moriyama said.

Hiroyuki Moriyama also called everyone to support the idea of nominating Nursultan Nazarbayev for the Nobel Peace Prize . He said that the Nobel Commission's answer about this award should be known this fall.
