Where to celebrate Republic Day in Astana, Almaty, and Shymkent

Tengrinews.kz – Kazakhstan will celebrate Republic Day on October 25, with citizens enjoying three days off — from October 25 to 27.

Across the country, dozens of festive events are planned, including concerts, exhibitions, theater performances, and sports competitions. Tengri Life has compiled a guide to the key events in Astana, Almaty, and Shymkent.

According to the Ministry of Trade and Integration, from October 24 to 27, major Republic Day sales will take place across Kazakhstan. More than 220 retail outlets, including shopping malls, supermarkets, chain stores, and online marketplaces, will offer discounts from 10% to 70% on a wide range of non-food goods — from clothing and appliances to home items.

Astana

The capital’s celebration program begins on October 23 and will continue for several days, featuring cultural events, world-class exhibitions, and sports tournaments.
