Tengrinews.kz - On October 13, the long-awaited concert of renowned actor and musician Jared Leto and his band Thirty Seconds to Mars took place in Almaty. This was the band's first concert in Kazakhstan in seven years, with their last performance being on July 2, 2017, in Astana.

The Thirty Seconds to Mars concert in Almaty attracted not only local fans but also admirers of frontman Jared Leto who traveled to Kazakhstan from various countries. Even before the show started on October 13, a line of fans gathered in front of the Palace of Sports to see their idol.

In the breaks between songs, Jared Leto, wearing a cowboy hat and holding the Kazakhstani flag, interacted with fans.

Some lucky attendees managed to get on stage and take selfies with the frontman. During the concert, the singer brought the Kazakhstani flag onto the stage and draped it over his shoulders. He posed for photos with fans who were allowed on stage, inviting some of them up and letting them take selfies with him.

Jared Leto also highlighted the cultural differences between Kazakhstan's two largest cities during his visit.

"Someone told me Astana the people, the audience has more energy and they are better than they are here," Jared said.

The joke sparked a lively reaction from the audience, splitting opinions between defenders of both cities. Some took it with humor, while others took it seriously and began to defend Almaty's honor.

At the concert, Jared speculated on the constant touring around the world, admired Almaty's natural beauty, and shared thoughts about possibly relocating.

"Sometimes you come to other places and you feel like you're at home. And we've always felt at home when we come to Kazakhstan. It's a beautiful thing. Maybe it's time to settle down and buy a little house in the city. Maybe I move to the mountains, be a mountain man" the musician mused.

On October 15, fans in Astana eagerly awaited the musician for a concert held at the Martial Arts Palace named after Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov, in celebration of the sixth studio album It’s The End Of The World But It’s A Beautiful Day.

During the show, Jared Leto, the frontman of Thirty Seconds to Mars, wore a custom-made hat crafted by a fan. One of the Astana fans passed the hat to the crowd, which carefully delivered it to the stage. Jared then put it on, and in a TikTok video that went viral, the fan can be seen screaming with joy and showing a heart with her hands.

"You made a hat for me? What kind of hat did you make? What is it? What kind of hat? Let me see what kind of hat it is. Okay, bring the hat up here. Everybody pass the hat forward. Look at the hat. Watch it fly. Wow! It's a flying. Kazakhstani hat. I think it looks pretty good," Jared exclaimed excitedly.
