Tengrinews.kz – President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov has arrived in Astana to participate in the "Central Asia – China" summit, according to the government's press service.
The summit is expected to be attended by the heads of state of Central Asia, as well as the President of China.
The event is aimed at exchanging views on the full range of cooperation issues between Central Asian countries and China.
Earlier, the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan reported that, during his working visit, Sadyr Japarov would also hold a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
As a reminder, on June 16, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping arrived in Kazakhstan for a two-day visit at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The two leaders held talks. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that the President of China is always a highly respected guest on Kazakh soil, and his visit is a vivid symbol of the sincere and steadfast friendship between the two countries.

On June 17, the second "Central Asia – China" summit with the participation of regional heads of state is scheduled to take place in Astana.
