NSC announces results of probe into Nurlan Saburov

Tengrinews.kz – The National Security Committee has completed its check into comedian Nurlan Saburov.

What happened

Earlier, a video appeared online claiming that Nurlan Saburov had allegedly provided financial assistance to Russian military personnel involved in the conflict with Ukraine.

In February, our editorial team sent a request to the National Security Committee asking whether Saburov was being checked for possible violations of criminal law, including Article 170 of the Criminal Code.

“The information has been taken into consideration, verification measures are being carried out,” the National Security Committee said at the time.

How the check ended

Recently, we received a response to a new official request. According to the response, the verification measures regarding Saburov have been completed.

“We inform you that no signs of an offense were identified as a result of the verification measures,” the National Security Committee said.
