Tengrinews.kz — Kazakhstan's Ministry of Trade and Integration has compiled a list of goods prohibited or restricted for sale on electronic trading platforms. The document consolidates information on items subject to turnover bans or restrictions in Kazakhstan, including sales via marketplaces.

According to the agency, the publication of the list aims to increase transparency in e-commerce: the document will allow e-commerce platform owners, online stores, sellers, and other market participants to access up-to-date information on existing restrictions and ensure compliance with legislative requirements when listing and selling goods.

The ministry noted that the list is for informational and reference purposes, systematizing already existing legislative requirements.

The list includes various types of weapons, tobacco and tobacco products (including smokeless tobacco), ethyl alcohol and alcoholic beverages, medicines and medical devices, as well as other categories of goods. The full list is available follow the link.

"The Ministry of Trade and Integration will update the list on an ongoing basis as legislation changes and relevant information is received from interested government agencies," the Ministry added.
