Tengrinews.kz – A FlyArystan aircraft operating flight FS7341 from Astana to Kostanay was forced to return to the departure airport due to deteriorating weather conditions at its destination.
According to the airline’s press service, the flight was later delayed as the Kostanay airport temporarily closed to clear the runway of snow. The return flight, FS7342 Kostanay–Astana, was also delayed because of the late arrival of the aircraft.
“FlyArystan flights operate on a turnaround basis, meaning delays on one route can affect subsequent flights,” the airline noted.
Passengers of flight FS7341 were provided with drinks and hot meals, while hotel accommodation was offered to passengers of the delayed return flight FS7342 upon request. The rescheduled departure times are 5:05 p.m. for flight FS7341 (Astana–Kostanay) and 6:50 p.m. for flight FS7342 (Kostanay–Astana).
