Astana National Medical Holding's clinics will get international accreditations

All 5 clinics of the National Medical Holding will be accredited in the nearest 2-3 years. Yerbol Orynbayev, Kazakhstan Vice-premier said this during the opening of the Joint Commission International certificate sculpture at the National Scientific Center of Maternity and Infancy in Astana, Tengrinews.kz reports. “Now international experts will visit our Clinics regularly to check whether our Centers meet the international standards. We are going to spread this experience to other National Medical Holding Clinics. All 5 Clinics of Nazarbayev University will be accredited internationally in 2-3 years,” Orynbayev said. He also added that this accreditation is very important for Medical Holding competitiveness. “We will be able to treat international clients. Availability of accreditation and compliance certificates will make them feel more confident that all the procedures, medical personnel and the quality of services corresponds with the international standards. We hope to attract more international clients through this accreditation. We will provide a high-tech medical services and Astana will become the regional medical hub,” Vice-premier said. JCI (Joint Commission International) Accreditation is the most prestigious healthcare accreditation in the world. Only 400 world medical organizations worldwide hold this accreditation. Kazakhstan National Scientific Center of Maternity and Infancy is the first scientific center in post-Soviet space to get accredited internationally.
